The Marian Bergeson Excellence in Public Service Series is privately funded by individuals and corporations, and is organized as a political organization with an education purpose under Section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Series is able to receive contributions from individuals and corporations, however not from foundations, and contributions are not tax deductible. Our students pay a fee of $250 for the series and are responsible for raising $1,000 for the Series . Scholars are encouraged to continue supporting the series after graduation. Board Members are also required to raise $1,000 annually for the Series.
